Appropriates $2,300,00 to the Department of Transportation from the Downstate Public Transportation Fund for operating expenses of the River Valley Metro Mass Transit District. Effective July 1, 2004.

AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $2,300,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Downstate Public Transportation Fund to the Department of Transportation for operating expenses of the River Valley Metro Mass Transit District for the purposes stated in Article II of Public Act 78-1109, as amended.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July 1, 2004.
