 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 639

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 639 on page 1,  by
 3    replacing lines 13 and 14 with the following:

 4    "facility,  or  may  make  arrangements  either  directly  or
 5    through  agreements  with  other  another  public  or private
 6    entities entity including a  licensed  ambulance  service  to
 7    appropriately"; and

 8    on  page  1,  line  20,  after  "arrangements",  by inserting
 9    "either directly or through agreements"; and

10    on page 1, by replacing lines 21 and 22 with the following:

11    "other public or private entities another public  or  private
12    entity    including   a   licensed   ambulance   service   to
13    appropriately transport the respondent to the mental"; and

14    on page 3, by replacing line 5 with the following:

15    "arrangements either  directly  or  through  agreements  with

17    on   page  3,  line  6,  after  "service  to",  by  inserting
18    "appropriately"; and

19    one page 4, by replacing lines 27 and 28 with the following:
