| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, Montini Catholic High School won the IHSA State 4A |
3 |
| Football Championship on Friday, November 26, 2004, at Memorial |
4 |
| Stadium in Champaign; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, The Montini Broncos, with a record of 13 wins and |
6 |
| one loss, defeated the Coal City High School Coalers by a score |
7 |
| of 44 to 7; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Much of the Broncos' success is attributed to Mike |
9 |
| Mucha, the Sun-Times Small School Player of the Year; in two |
10 |
| minutes and one second during the third quarter, he scored on a |
11 |
| 62-yard run, returned an interception 41 yards, and scored on a |
12 |
| 4-yard run; he finished the game with 15 carries for 133 yards, |
13 |
| including one 62-yard scoring run and an interception; and
|
14 |
| WHEREAS, Montini moved into the lead midway through the |
15 |
| first quarter on an 11-yard touchdown pass from Quaterback |
16 |
| Bobby Dobry to Pat Kelly; near the end of the second quarter, |
17 |
| Bobby Dobry connected with Ben Murphy on a 10-yard touchdown |
18 |
| pass; the Broncos also had an 80-yard run by Joey Borsellino, |
19 |
| who finished with 127 yards on 12 carries; Bobby Dobry ended |
20 |
| the day 5-for-12 for 63 yards with two touchdown passes as the |
21 |
| Broncos rolled up 382 yards in offense; and
|

| WHEREAS, The Broncos' Head Coach is Chris Andriano; this |
23 |
| was his 26th season as head coach; Mike Mucha, Joey Borsellino, |
24 |
| Neal Revane, and Brandon Frey were each named to the 2004 |
25 |
| Chicago Sun-Times All-State Football Team; therefore, be it |
26 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |

| congratulate the players, coaches, and students of Montini |
29 |
| Catholic High School on winning the IHSA Class 4A Football |

| Championship; and be it further
