| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, Riverboats licensed under the Riverboat Gambling |
| 3 |
| Act generate
millions of dollars in revenue each year for the |
| 4 |
| communities in which they
dock; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The State has received a vast windfall from the |
| 6 |
| riverboats
that dock within its borders; therefore, be it
|
| 7 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 8 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 9 |
| the Illinois House of Representatives urges that, if a license |
| 10 |
| authorizing riverboat gambling operations in Winnebago County |
| 11 |
| is issued, any municipality in which riverboats dock pursuant |
| 12 |
| to such a license enter into agreements with Winnebago County |
| 13 |
| and with all other municipalities in Winnebago County to share |
| 14 |
| the revenues generated by riverboat gambling conducted |
| 15 |
| pursuant to such a license; and be it further
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be |
| 17 |
| delivered to the top
ranking municipal official in each |
| 18 |
| municipality in Winnebago County.
