| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to honor Irma Lambert of |
| 4 |
| Bourbonnais for her volunteer service at the Illinois Veterans |
| 5 |
| Home of Manteno; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Lambert has volunteered her service at the |
| 7 |
| Illinois Veterans Home totaling over 22,915 hours; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Volunteers at the Veterans Home do a myriad of |
| 9 |
| chores, ranging from entertaining with music to calling bingo |
| 10 |
| to wheeling veterans around to just holding a conversation; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Lambert serves in the Commissary and helps |
| 12 |
| with outings for the veterans; therefore, be it
|
| 13 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 |
| NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 15 |
| honor Irma Lambert for her volunteer service at the Illinois |
| 16 |
| Veterans Home of Manteno, and we thank her for her devotion to |
| 17 |
| helping the veterans; and be it further
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 |
| presented to Ms. Lambert as an expression of our respect and |
| 20 |
| esteem.
