| AN ACT concerning schools.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Sections |
5 |
| 10-20.39 and 34-18.30 as follows: |

| (105 ILCS 5/10-20.39 new) |

| Sec. 10-20.39. Candy, soda pop, and chip sales prohibited.

| Each school board shall prohibit the sale of candy, soda pop, |

| and chips at school or on school grounds. |

| Sec. 34-18.30. Candy, soda pop, and chip sales prohibited. |

| Section 90. The State Mandates Act is amended by adding |

| Section 8.28 as
follows:

| Sec. 8.28. Exempt mandate. Notwithstanding Sections 6 and 8 |

| of this
Act, no reimbursement by the State is required for the |
19 |
| implementation of
any mandate created by this amendatory Act of |

| the 93rd General Assembly.
