| AN ACT concerning local government.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Budget Law is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section
4 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (50 ILCS 330/4) (from Ch. 85, par. 804)
|

| Sec. 4. The failure by any governing body of any |
| 8 |
| municipality to adopt an
annual budget and appropriation |
| 9 |
| ordinance, or to comply in any respect with
the provisions of |
| 10 |
| this Act, does
shall not affect the validity of any
tax levy
by |
| 11 |
| that
of any such municipality that is , otherwise in
conformity |
| 12 |
| with the law.
