| AN ACT concerning child support.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Non-Support Punishment Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing
Section 40 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (750 ILCS 16/40)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 40. Evidence. No other or greater evidence is
shall |
| 8 |
| be
required to
prove the
marriage of a husband and wife, or |
| 9 |
| that the defendant is the father or mother
of the child
or |
| 10 |
| children than is or shall be required to prove that fact in a |
| 11 |
| civil
action.
