| AN ACT concerning employment.
|
2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
4 |
| Section 5. The Day and Temporary Labor Services Act is |
5 |
| amended by changing
Section 75 as follows:
|

| (820 ILCS 175/75)
|

| Sec. 75. Willful violations. Whoever willfully violates |
8 |
| any of the
provisions
of this Act
or any rule adopted under |
9 |
| this Act, or whoever obstructs the Department of
Labor,
its |
10 |
| inspectors
or deputies, or any other person authorized to |
11 |
| inspect places of employment
under this Act shall
be guilty of |
12 |
| a Class A misdemeanor. Each day during which a violation of |
13 |
| this
Act continues
shall constitute a separate and distinct |
14 |
| offense, and the employment of any
person in violation of
the |
15 |
| Act shall, with respect to each person so employed, constitute |
16 |
| a separate
and distinct
offense. Whenever, in the opinion of |
17 |
| the Department, a violation of the
Act has
occurred, the |
18 |
| Department shall report the violation to the Attorney General |
19 |
| of
this State
who has
shall have authority to prosecute all
|
20 |
| reported violations.
