| AN ACT in relation to taxation.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Retailers' Occupation Tax Act is amended by |
5 |
| changing Section
2i as follows:
|
6 |
| (35 ILCS 120/2i) (from Ch. 120, par. 441i)
|
7 |
| Sec. 2i. Exception to bonding requirement. Notwithstanding |
8 |
| any other
provision to the contrary, any person
who is required |
9 |
| to file a bond pursuant to any provision of this Act and
who |
10 |
| has continuously complied with all provisions of this Act for |
11 |
| 24 or
more consecutive months, shall no longer be required to |
12 |
| comply with the
bonding provisions of this Act so long as such |
13 |
| person continues his compliance
with the provisions of this |
14 |
| Act.
