| AN ACT in relation to gambling.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Raffles Act is amended by changing Section 8 |
| 5 |
| as follows:
|

| Sec. 8. Construction of Act. Nothing in this Act shall be |

| construed to
authorize the conducting or operating of any |
| 9 |
| gambling scheme, enterprise,
activity or device other than |

| raffles as provided for herein.
