215 ILCS 5/188.2 new










    Amends the Illinois Insurance Code. Provides that the Director of Insurance may share documents, materials, or other information in the possession or control of the Department of Insurance pertaining to an insurer that is the subject of a proceeding under the Rehabilitation, Liquidation, Conservation and Dissolution of Companies Article in accordance with applicable law.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended  by adding

Section 188.2 as follows:

    (215 ILCS 5/188.2  new)

    Sec. 188.2. Discovery.   The Director may share documents, 
8
materials, or other information in the possession or control of 
9
the Department of Insurance pertaining to an insurer that is 
10
the subject of a proceeding under this Article in accordance 
11
with applicable law.
