| AN ACT concerning consumer fraud.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business |
5 |
| Practices Act is
amended by changing Section 2B.1 as follows:
|

| Sec. 2B.1. It is
shall be unlawful in the sale of consumer
|

| goods or services for any person conducting a mail order or
|
9 |
| catalog business in this State, and utilizing a post office
box |
10 |
| address or a street address representing a site used
primarily |
11 |
| for the receipt or delivery of mail or as a telephone
answering |
12 |
| service, to fail to disclose the legal name under which
|
13 |
| business is conducted and the complete street address from |
14 |
| which
business is actually conducted in all advertising and |
15 |
| promotional
materials, including order blanks and forms.
