    AN ACT concerning transportation.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Highway Code is amended by changing 
5
Section 5-701 as follows:

    (605 ILCS 5/5-701)  (from Ch. 121, par. 5-701)

    Sec. 5-701. Moneys
Money allotted from the Motor Fuel Tax 
8
Fund to
the several
counties as provided in Section 8 of the 
9
"Motor Fuel Tax Law", approved
March 25, 1929, as now or 
10
hereafter amended, other than moneys
money
allotted to
counties 
11
for the use of road districts, shall be used only for one or 
12
more
of the purposes stated in Sections 5-701.1 through 
13
5-701.16, as the several
counties may desire.
