| AN ACT concerning professional regulation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 5. The Real Estate License Act of 2000 is amended |

| by changing
Section 1-1 as follows:

| (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2010)

| Sec. 1-1. Short title; Act supersedes Real Estate License |

| Act of 1983.
This Act shall be known and may be cited as the |

| Real Estate License Act of
2000, and it shall
supersede the |
| 11 |
| Real Estate License Act of 1983 repealed by this Act.
