Amends the Department of Natural Resources (Conservation) Law. Provides that revenue derived from fees paid for certificates of title, duplicate certificates of title, and corrected certificates of title and deposited in the Park and Conservation Fund may be expended by the Department of Natural Resources for acquisition, development, and maintenance of walk paths and equestrian trails, in addition to bike paths.

| AN ACT concerning conservation.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Department of Natural Resources |
5 |
| (Conservation) Law of the
Civil Administrative Code of Illinois |
6 |
| is amended by changing Section 805-420 as follows:
|

| Sec. 805-420. Appropriations from Park and Conservation |
9 |
| Fund. The
Department has the power to expend monies |
10 |
| appropriated to the
Department from the Park and Conservation |
11 |
| Fund in the State
treasury for conservation and park purposes.
|

| All revenue derived from fees paid for certificates of |
13 |
| title, duplicate
certificates of title and corrected |
14 |
| certificates of title and deposited in
the Park and |
15 |
| Conservation Fund, as provided for in Section 2-119 of the
|
16 |
| Illinois Vehicle Code, shall be expended solely by the |
17 |
| Department pursuant to
an appropriation for acquisition,
|
18 |
| development, and maintenance of bike paths, walk paths, and |
19 |
| equestrian trails, including grants for the
acquisition and |
20 |
| development of bike paths , walk paths, and equestrian trails .
