    AN ACT concerning hospitals.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Hospital Licensing Act is amended  by 
5
changing Section 6.16 as follows:

    (210 ILCS 85/6.16)

    Sec. 6.16. Agreement with designated organ procurement 
8
agency. Each
hospital licensed under this Act must
shall have 
9
an agreement with its federally
designated organ procurement 
10
agency providing for notification of the organ
procurement 
11
agency when potential organ donors become available, as

12
required in Section 2 of the Organ Donation Request Act.
