Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Adds vehicles that transport manure to the
definition of implement of husbandry, and excludes from that definition
implements of husbandry with a gross weight exceeding 54,000 pounds (instead of
36,000 pounds). Effective immediately.

| AN ACT concerning vehicles.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing |
5 |
| Section 1-130 as
follows:
|

| (625 ILCS 5/1-130) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 1-130)

| Sec. 1-130. Implement of husbandry.
Every vehicle designed |
8 |
| and adapted exclusively for agricultural,
horticultural, or |
9 |
| livestock raising operations, including vehicles used to
|
10 |
| transport manure, farm wagons,
wagon trailers or like vehicles |
11 |
| used in
connection therewith, or for
lifting or carrying an |
12 |
| implement of husbandry provided that no vehicle used
to |
13 |
| transport manure, farm
wagon, wagon trailer or like vehicle |
14 |
| having a gross weight of more than
54,000
36,000 pounds, shall |

| be included
hereunder.
