SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

 

Appropriates $8,400,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Police Services Fund.  Appropriates $8,400,000 from the State Police Services Fund to the Department of State Police for criminal history record investigations under the School Code.  Effective July 1, 2004.

    AN ACT making appropriations.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5.  The amount of $8,400,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Police Services Fund.

 

    Section 10.  The amount of $8,400,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the State Police Services Fund to the Department of State Police for payment of amounts authorized to be paid from that Fund under Sections 10-21.9 and 34-18.5 of the School Code.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2004.
