| AN ACT concerning procurement.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Procurement Code is amended by |
5 |
| adding Section 25-65 as follows: |
6 |
| (30 ILCS 500/25-65 new) |
7 |
| Sec. 25-65. Information technology services. Each State |
8 |
| contract awarded on or after the effective date of this |
9 |
| amendatory Act of the 93rd General Assembly for the provision |
10 |
| of information technology services must contain a |
11 |
| certification by the contractor that all information |
12 |
| technology services provided pursuant to the contract shall be |
13 |
| performed within the United States by United States citizens, |
14 |
| legal United States resident aliens, persons with valid United |
15 |
| States visas, or any combination of such persons.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
17 |
| becoming law.
