Amends the State Comptroller Act. Requires that the Comptroller notify the Auditor General, the Governor, and the 4 legislative leaders when a State agency is delinquent in meeting reporting requirements set by law. Effective immediately.

| AN ACT concerning the State Comptroller.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The State Comptroller Act is amended by adding |
5 |
| Section 26 as follows: |

| (15 ILCS 405/26 new) |

| Sec. 26. Delinquent reporting notification. When the |
8 |
| Comptroller determines that a State agency is delinquent in |
9 |
| reporting to the Office of Comptroller as required by law, the |
10 |
| Comptroller shall notify the Office of the Auditor General, the |
11 |
| Office of the Governor, the Speaker and Minority Leader of the |
12 |
| House of Representatives, and the President and Minority Leader |
13 |
| of the Senate of the delinquency.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
15 |
| becoming law.
