Amends the Election Code. Provides that industries, unions, professions, and other special interest entities, including but not limited to, railways, utilities, chambers of commerce, and gambling entities, and political action committees are limited in their contributions to elected officials of the General Assembly to $3,000 per official per election cycle.

| AN ACT concerning elections.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Election Code is amended by adding Section |
5 |
| 9-29 as follows: |

| (10 ILCS 5/9-29 new) |

| Sec. 9-29. The following regulated entities, regulated by |
8 |
| elected officials of the House of Representatives and Senate of |
9 |
| the State of Illinois who are the regulators, industries, |
10 |
| unions, professions, and other special interest entities, |
11 |
| including but not limited to, railroads, utilities, chambers of |
12 |
| commerce and gambling entities, and any political action |
13 |
| committee are limited in their contributions to the regulators |
14 |
| in one election cycle to $3,000 per one regulator.
