Appropriates $50,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for grants to rural fire protection districts and rural fire departments for the purchase of automated external defibrillators. Effective July 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $50,000, or as much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for grants to rural fire protection districts and rural fire departments for the purchase of automated external defibrillators.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2004.
