SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Appropriates the amount of $1, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Corrections for the purpose of grants to provide funding to fully staff county juvenile detention centers. Effective on July 1, 2004.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The amount of $1, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Corrections for grants to provide funding to fully staff county juvenile detention centers.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on July 1, 2004.
