| AN ACT in relation to gaming.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975 is amended |
| 5 |
| by changing
Section 15.1 as follows:
|

| (230 ILCS 5/15.1) (from Ch. 8, par. 37-15.1)
|

| Sec. 15.1. Deposits of fees. Upon collection of the fee |
| 8 |
| accompanying the
application for
an occupation license, the |
| 9 |
| Board shall be authorized to make daily
temporary deposits of |
| 10 |
| the fees, for a period not to exceed 7 days, with the
|
| 11 |
| horsemen's bookkeeper at a race meeting. The horsemen's |
| 12 |
| bookkeeper shall
issue a check, payable to the order of the |
| 13 |
| Illinois Racing Board, for
moneys
monies deposited under this |
| 14 |
| Section within 24 hours of receipt
of the
moneys
monies. |

| Provided however, upon the issuance of the check by the
|
| 16 |
| horsemen's
bookkeeper the check shall be deposited in the State |
| 17 |
| Treasury in accordance
with the provisions of the "State |
| 18 |
| Officers and Employees Money Disposition
Act", approved June 9, |
| 19 |
| 1911, as amended.
