Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Authorizes the Village of Plainfield to use quick-take proceedings for the purposes of constructing a water infrastructure. Effective immediately.

1     AN ACT concerning Civil Procedure.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
5 adding Section 7-103.102 as follows:
 
6     (735 ILCS 5/7-103.102 new)
7     Sec. 7-103.102. Quick-take; Village of Plainfield.
8 Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for the
9 period of 12 months after the effective date of this amendatory
10 Act of the 93rd General Assembly by the Village of Plainfield
11 for the acquisition of property for the purposes of
12 constructing a water infrastructure:
