 1        AN ACT making appropriations.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4                              ARTICLE 1

 5        Section 1.  The  following  named  amounts,  or  so  much
 6    thereof  as  may  be necessary, respectively, for the objects
 7    and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to meet  the
 8    ordinary  and  contingent  expenses  of  the  Law Enforcement
 9    Training Standards Board:

15        Section 1a.  The  following  named  amount,  or  so  much
16    thereof  as  may  be necessary, respectively, for the objects
17    and purposes hereinafter named, is appropriated  to  the  Law
18    Enforcement Training Standards Board as follows:
19                            GRANTS-IN-AID
20    Payable from the Traffic and Criminal
21      Conviction Surcharge Fund:
22    For payment of and/or reimbursement
23      of training and training services
24      in accordance with statutory provisions ......$  11,784,500

25        Section  99.   Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
26    July 1, 2003.
