The sum of $8,000,000, or so much thereof as 30 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Transportation 31 Regulatory Fund to the Illinois Commerce Commission for 32 disbursing funds collected for the Single State Insurance -4- BOB093 00041 MNG 00041 b 1 Registration Program to be distributed to: (1) participating 2 states, provided that no distributions exceed funds made 3 available from registration collections; and (2) for refunds 4 for overpayments. 5 Section 5. The sum of $250,000, or so much thereof as 6 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Transportation 7 Regulatory Fund to assist the Illinois Commerce Commission in 8 monitoring railroad crossing safety. 9 Section 6. The sum of $1,975,000, or so much thereof as 10 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Public Utility 11 Fund to assist the Illinois Commerce Commission in 12 implementing the Electric Service Customer Choice and Rate 13 Relief Law of 1997, including costs in the prior year. 14 Section 7. The sum of $4,350,000, or so much thereof as 15 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Digital Divide 16 Elimination Infrastructure Fund to the Illinois Commerce 17 Commission for grants and awards for the construction of 18 high-speed data transmission facilities. 19 Section 8. The sum of $3,800,000, or so much thereof as 20 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Restricted Call 21 Registry Fund to the Illinois Commerce Commission for the 22 purpose of implementing the Restricted Call Registry Act, 23 including costs in prior years. 24 Section 9. The sum of $75,000, or so much thereof as may 25 be necessary, is appropriated from the Underground Utility 26 Facilities Damage Prevention Fund to the Illinois Commerce 27 Commission for a grant to the Statewide One-call Notice 28 System, as required in the Illinois Underground Utility 29 Facilities Damage Prevention Act. -5- BOB093 00041 MNG 00041 b 1 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 2 July 1, 2003.
