093_HB3435 LRB093 11074 NHT 11908 b 1 AN ACT making appropriations and reappropriations. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The amount of $45,901,400, or so much thereof 5 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 6 Fund to the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University 7 to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the 8 University, including payment or reimbursement to the 9 University for personal services and related costs, incurred 10 during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004 and for salaries 11 accrued but unpaid to academic personnel for personal 12 services rendered during the FY 2003 academic year. 13 Section 10. The amount of $7,154,200, or so much thereof 14 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Education 15 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois 16 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of 17 the University, including payment or reimbursement to the 18 University for personal services and related costs, incurred 19 during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2004 and for salaries 20 accrued but unpaid to academic personnel for personal 21 services rendered during the FY 2003 academic year. 22 Section 15. The sum of $665,700, or so much thereof as 23 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 24 business on June 30, 2003, from a reappropriation heretofore 25 made for such purpose in Article 6, Section 15 of Public Act 26 92-538, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund 27 to Eastern Illinois University for digitalization 28 infrastructure for WEIU-TV. 29 Section 20. The sum of $175,250, or so much thereof as -2- LRB093 11074 NHT 11908 b 1 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 2 business on June 30, 2003, from a reappropriation heretofore 3 made for such purpose in Article 6, Section 20 of Public Act 4 92-538, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund 5 to the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University for 6 digitalization infrastructure for WEIU-TV, in addition to any 7 other amounts previously appropriated for such purpose for 8 this fiscal year. No contract shall be entered into or 9 obligation incurred for any expenditure from the 10 appropriation made in this Section until after the purposes 11 and amounts have been approved in writing by the Governor. 12 Section 25. The sum of $632,900, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 14 business on June 30, 2003, from a reappropriation heretofore 15 made for such purpose in Article 6, Section 30 of Public Act 16 92-538, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund 17 to the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University to 18 purchase equipment for the renovation and expansion of Booth 19 Library. No contract shall be entered into or obligation 20 incurred for any expenditure from the appropriation made in 21 this Section until after the purposes and amounts have been 22 approved in writing by the Governor. 23 Section 30. The sum of $5,430,400, or so much thereof as 24 may be necessary and remains unexpended at the close of 25 business on June 30, 2003, from an appropriation heretofore 26 made for such purpose in Article 1, Section 19 of Public Act 27 92-717, is reappropriated from the Capital Development Fund 28 to the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University to 29 purchase equipment for the renovation and expansion of the 30 Fine Arts Center. No contract shall be entered into or 31 obligation incurred for any expenditure from the 32 appropriation made in this Section until after the purposes -3- LRB093 11074 NHT 11908 b 1 and amounts have been approved in writing by the Governor. 2 Section 35. The sum of $2,000, or so much thereof as may 3 be necessary, is appropriated from the State College and 4 University Trust Fund to the Board of Trustees of Eastern 5 Illinois University for scholarship grant awards, in 6 accordance with Public Act 91-83. 7 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 8 July 1, 2003.
