 1        AN ACT concerning the military.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.   The Military Code of Illinois is amended by
 5    changing Section 22-1 as follows:

 6        (20 ILCS 1805/22-1) (from Ch. 129, par. 220.22-1)
 7        Sec. 22-1.  Power to contract.  The Adjutant General  has
 8    the   power   and  authority  to  enter  into  contracts  and
 9    agreements in the name of the  State  of  Illinois  with  the
10    Federal  government  on  any  and all matters relating to the
11    organizing, training, equipping, quartering  and  maintenance
12    of the Illinois National Guard.
