 1        AN ACT in relation to gambling.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Raffles Act is amended by changing  8  as
 5    follows:

 6        (230 ILCS 15/8) (from Ch. 85, par. 2308)
 7        Sec.  8.  Construction of Act.  Nothing in this Act shall
 8    be construed to authorize the conducting or operating of  any
 9    gambling  scheme,  enterprise,  activity or device other than
10    raffles as provided for herein.
