 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend House Bill 1043  by  replacing
 3    the title with the following:
 4        "AN ACT in relation to land."; and

 5    by  replacing  everything  after the enacting clause with the

 7        "Section 5.  Upon the payment of the sum  of  $530.00  to

17        (214.50  feet) west of the northerly right of way line of
18        the Chicago, Aurora and Elgin Railroad; thence  North  02
19        Degrees 38 Minutes West to the North line of said Section
20        4,  and east of a line described as follows: Beginning at
21        a point on said north line of said  Section  4  which  is
22        90.123  meters  (4.48 chains) east of the Quarter Section

29        Parcel 26.2 TE is that part of the above described parcel
30        taken  for  Temporary  Easement  Purposes,  described  as
31        follows: Commencing at the intersection of the  northerly
32        line  of  the  Chicago, Aurora and Elgin Railroad and the

 2        Minutes  36  Seconds  west  along  said  center  line,  a

 5        distance of 98.147 meters  thence  North  02  Degrees  50
 6        Minutes  34 Seconds east, a distance of 23.539 meters for
 7        a point of beginning, thence North 89 Degrees 39  Minutes
 8        43 Seconds west, a distance of 2.116 meters; thence North
 9        00  Degrees  20  Minutes  21  Seconds east, a distance of
10        5.012 meters; thence  South  89  Degrees  39  Minutes  43
11        Seconds east, a distance of 2.335 meters; thence South 02
12        Degrees  50  Minutes 34 Seconds west, a distance of 5.017
13        meters to the  point  of  beginning,  in  DuPage  County,
14        Illinois.

15        The  property may be used only for public purposes or the
16        easement shall revert without further action to the State
17        of Illinois.

18        Section 917.  The Director of the Illinois Department  of
19    Corrections  shall obtain a certified copy of the portions of
20    this Act containing the title, enacting clause, the effective
21    date, the appropriate Section or Sections containing the land
22    descriptions of the property to be transferred  or  otherwise
23    affected, and this Section within 60 days after its effective
24    date  and, upon receipt of payment required by the Section or
25    Sections, if  any  payment  is  required,  shall  record  the
26    certified  document in the Recorder's Office in the county in
27    which the land is located.

28        Section 920.  Subject to  the  conditions  set  forth  in
29    Section  927  of  this Act, the Director of the Department of
30    Natural Resources, on behalf of the  State  of  Illinois,  is
31    authorized  to  execute  and deliver to Springfield Plastics,
32    Inc., a Nevada Corporation, with offices at 7300 West  State,

 1    Route   104,   Auburn,  Illinois,  hereinafter  "Grantee",  a
 2    quitclaim deed to the following described real property,  for
 3    and  in consideration of the fencing and trees to be provided
 4    by Grantee as hereinafter specified  under  Section  925,  to
 5    wit:
 6        Part  of  the Southwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 13
 7        North, Range 6 West  of  the  Third  Principal  Meridian,
 8        Sangamon   County,   Illinois,   described   as  follows:
 9        Beginning at an iron pipe  at  the  intersection  of  the
10        Southerly  right-of-way  line  of State Route 104 and the
11        Easterly line of the abandoned Chicago  and  Northwestern
12        Railroad  right-of-way;  thence  Southwesterly  along the
13        Easterly line of said  abandoned  Railroad  right-of-way,
14        1563.58  feet  to  an iron pin; thence West parallel with
15        the North line of the Southeast Quarter of  said  Section
16        8,  to a point 20.00 feet Westerly of and perpendicularly
17        distant from the Easterly line of said abandoned Railroad
18        right-of-way;  thence  Northeasterly  parallel  with  the
19        Easterly line of said abandoned Railroad right-of-way, to
20        the Southerly right-of-way line of  Illinois  Route  104;
21        thence  Easterly  along said Southerly right-of-way line,
22        to the Point of Beginning, containing 0.71 acres, more or
23        less.

24        Section 925.  As full consideration for the conveyance of
25    the real property described in Section  920,  Grantee  shall:
26    (1)  provide  all  material,  equipment and labor required to
27    erect a chain-link fence, with a minimum height  of  6  feet,
28    along the Westerly line of such real property, running from a
29    point   near  the  Southwest  corner  of  Grantee's  existing
30    building to the Southwest corner of such real property, being
31    approximately  700  feet  in  length;  and  (2)  provide  all
32    material, equipment and labor required to  plant  4  (2  inch
33    minimum  caliper)  oak trees on adjoining real property to be

 1    retained by the Department of Natural Resources, as  directed
 2    by the Department.

 3        Section  927.  The  Director of the Department of Natural
 4    Resources shall obtain a certified copy of  the  portions  of
 5    this Act containing the title, enacting clause, the effective
 6    date, the appropriate Section or Sections containing the land
 7    descriptions  of  the property to be transferred or otherwise
 8    affected, and this Section within 60 days after its effective
 9    date and, upon receipt of payment required by the Section  or
10    Sections,  if  any  payment  is  required,  shall  record the
11    certified document in the Recorder's Office in the county  in
12    which the land is located.

13        Section 999.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect upon
14    becoming law.".
