 1        AN ACT in relation to the conveyance of land.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Code of Civil  Procedure  is  amended  by
 5    changing 7-112 as follows:

 6        (735 ILCS 5/7-112) (from Ch. 110, par. 7-112)
 7        Sec.  7-112.  Construction of Article.  The right to take
 8    possession  and  title  prior  to  the  final   judgment   as
 9    prescribed  in  Sections  7-103  through to 7-111 of this Act
10    shall be in addition to any other right, power, or  authority
11    otherwise  conferred  by  law,  and shall not be construed as
12    abrogating, limiting  or  modifying  any  such  other  right,
13    power, or authority.
