Synopsis As Introduced
Amends the Illinois Promotion Act. Makes technical changes in a Section concerning the short title.

House Amendment No. 1
Deletes reference to:
20 ILCS 665/1
Adds reference to:
65 ILCS 5/11-74.3-6

Deletes everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that a Business District Retailers' Occupation Tax and a Business District Service Occupation Tax may not be imposed upon food for human consumption that is to be consumed off the premises where it is sold (other than alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, and food that has been prepared for immediate consumption). Effective immediately.
