AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5198

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5198 on page 4, line 25, by replacing "2,500" with "2,000"; and

on page 6, by replacing line 18 with the following:

"(a) Beginning October 1, 2028 2004, the Illinois Housing"; and

on page 12, by replacing lines 1 through 3 with "measures outlined in subsection (d), that the local government intends to local governments may provide for the purpose of attracting affordable housing to its their jurisdiction;"; and

on page 12, line 13, by replacing "these" with "the these"; and

on page 12, line 20, by replacing "10%" with "25% 10%"; and

on page 13, line 1, by replacing "timelines to commence," with "timelines, to commence,"; and

on page 13, line 3, by replacing "for" with "for"; and

on page 14, line 13, by replacing "land" with "of lands land"; and

on page 14, line 18, after "housing", by inserting ", including home modifications to support accessibility"; and

on page 21, line 17, by replacing "appellate court" with "Appellate Court appellate court"; and

on page 21, line 23, by replacing "suit to the plaintiff or petitioner" with "appeal to the appellant".
