SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Luke P. Beane of St. Louis, Missouri,
4who passed away on November 15, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Luke Beane was born in Springfield on December
619, 1994; he attended St. Agnes Grade School and graduated
7from Springfield High School in 2013; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Luke Beane, who possessed a vast love for the St.
9Louis Cardinals, was a dedicated and passionate employee at
10Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri, where he began working
11in 2020; during his off-hours at the stadium, he brought joy
12and impeccable service to the patrons at Rich & Charlie's
13Italian Restaurant in St. Louis, and he was also an amazing
14artist who was well-known in the St. Louis art scene; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Luke Beane was a staunch supporter of the St.
16Louis Blues; he enjoyed exploring his Native American
17heritage, taking trips to Disneyland, tubing with his
18grandfather, Mike, on Lake Petersburg, attending concerts,
19taking bike rides through nature, and partaking in his
20mother's home-cooked feasts; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Luke Beane deeply loved his family, who were the

1cornerstone of his world, and he spent countless hours sharing
2laughter and playing games with them; he will be remembered
3for his vibrant blue eyes, his heartwarming smile, his
4passionate creativity, and his adventurous spirit; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Luke Beane was preceded in death by his
6grandparents, James and Margaret Beane; his great-grandmother,
7Madelyn Rogers; his uncle, Floyd Heller; his aunts, Jody and
8Rhonda Beane; his cousin, Matthew Jones; and his
9step-grandfather, Thomas Halberstadt; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Luke Beane is survived by his father, Joseph P.
11Beane; his parents, Vivian and Miles Anderson; his sisters,
12Libby (Carrick) Younkin and Sophie Anderson; his nephew, Miles
13Younkin; his grandparents, Guss Wardle, Michael and Elizabeth
14Anderson, and Patricia Halberstadt; his aunts, Tanya Heller,
15Angela (Patrick) Ryan, Paetra Yates, and Jackie (Steve) Jones;
16his uncles, Ryan (Kathy) Samuelson, Jim Beane, and John Beane;
17many cousins; and other family and friends; therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
20Luke P. Beane and extend our sincere condolences to his
21family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
