SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Jeffrey Robert Williams, who passed
4away on September 25, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jeffrey Williams was born to James and Mary Ann
6Williams in Moline on October 22, 1962; he served as a jet
7mechanic in the U.S. Marine Corps; he was later a resident of
8Jasper, Texas for four years; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Jeffrey Williams worked as a design engineer at
10Sears Seating in Davenport, Iowa for many years; in his later
11years, he obtained his Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
12certificate, driving mixer trucks and flatbed steel to chip
13trucks; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Jeffrey Williams loved adventure and his favorite
15hobbies included flying helicopters, driving his jeep, racing,
16and snow skiing; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Jeffrey Williams is survived by his wife, Chana
18Wood; his daughter, Samantha Nicole Williams; his brothers,
19Scott (Elizabeth) Williams, Eric (Christina) Williams, and
20Sean (Katie) Williams; and his sister, Tammy (Michael) VanHoe;
21therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Jeffrey Robert Williams and extend our since condolences to
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Jeffrey Williams as an expression
8of our deepest sympathy.
