SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Patrick Walker Brannan of
4Jacksonville, who passed away on July 7, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan, the son of Edwin and Karen
6Lippert Brannan, was born in Beardstown on August 6, 1978; he
7served in the U.S. Army during the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars;
8he married Kimberly Beddingfield in Myrtle Beach, South
9Carolina on August 12, 2015; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan worked for the Illinois
11Department of Transportation for several years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan attended First Christian Church
13in South Jacksonville; he was a member of AMVETS, the VFW, and
14the Pine Point Campers Club; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan enjoyed fishing, woodworking,
16riding his bike, traveling with his wife, and boating with his
17friends; he loved spending time with his family, friends, and
18dogs; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan was preceded in death by his
20father; his maternal grandparents, Max Lippert and Betty

1Lippert; and his paternal grandparents, John Brannan and Peg
2Brannan; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Patrick Brannan is survived by his wife; his
4children, Stephen Walker Brannan, Jaylon Fore, and Niamh
5Brannan; his mother and stepfather, Karen (Steve) Reveal; his
6brothers, Edwin Christopher (Jenny) Brannan and Andrew Ray
7(Lecie) Brannan; his nephews and niece, Christopher, Clara,
8and Andrew; and a host of friends; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Patrick Walker Brannan and extend our sincere condolences to
12his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Patrick Brannan as an expression of
16our deepest sympathy.
