SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Albert C. Ramos of East Moline, who
4passed away on April 12, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Albert Ramos was born to Soledad and Julia Razo
6Ramos in Chillicothe on May 6, 1932; he served in the U.S. Navy
7during the Korean War; he married Sara V. Martel in Silvis on
8May 5, 1956; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Albert Ramos worked for Case IH, retiring in
101988; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Albert Ramos was a member of Christ the King
12Catholic Church, the East Moline V.F.W., and the American
13Legion; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Albert Ramos, affectionately known as "Uncle Al",
15enriched the lives of his family and friends through his
16warmth and generosity; he will be remembered for his outgoing
17spirit; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Albert Ramos was preceded in death by his
19parents; his children, Phyllis and Gary; his sisters, Bea,
20Lupe, and Mary; and his brothers, Jesse and Alfred; and

1    WHEREAS, Albert Ramos is survived by his wife of 67 years,
2Sara; his sons, Timothy (Skylar) Ramos and Randy (Denise)
3Ramos; his son-in-law, Mike O'Sullivan; his grandchildren,
4Jessica Ramos, Nicholas (Lindsey) Ramos, Heather (Paul) Ramos,
5Brooke (Daniel) Ramos Fritz, Brandi (Dario) Cruz, and Ryan
6Ramos; his great-grandchildren, Noah, Nico, Jose, Jzonei,
7Jazmyne, Jalen, Javi, Lilliana, Liam, Sofia, and Nora; his
8sisters, Joann Adams, Dora Gonzalez, and Rachel Espinosa; and
9numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members; therefore,
10be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13Albert C. Ramos and extend our sincere condolences to his
14family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
15further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Albert Ramos as an expression of our
18deepest sympathy.
