SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Brian R. Miller of Moline, who passed 
4away on April 21, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Brian Miller was born to Richard and Marianne 
6(Antoniou) Miller in Moline on September 4, 1961; he served in 
7the U.S. Army; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Brian Miller worked as a truck driver for various 
9companies; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Brian Miller enjoyed watching NASCAR and the 
11Chicago Bears and spending time with his family, especially 
12his nieces and nephews; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Brian Miller was preceded in death by his mother 
14and his stepmother, Mary Ann; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Brian Miller is survived by his father; his son, 
16Layne Johnson; his sisters, Rebecca Hall and Elizabeth Powell; 
17and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and 
18cousins; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Brian R. Miller and extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Brian Miller as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
