SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Wade Bedwell of Blandinsville, who
4passed away on March 20, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Wade Bedwell was born to Bernard and Viola Irwin
6Bedwell in Industry on December 27, 1930; he initially resided
7in Industry before moving to Littleton and then Blandinsville;
8he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War; he married
9Barbara Joann Perry in Hersman on October 14, 1956, and she
10preceded him in death on December 18, 2014; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Wade Bedwell worked as a lineman for the Rural
12Electrification Administration (REA) and the McDonough
13Telephone Cooperative before becoming a proud farmer; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Wade Bedwell was a member of the Blandinsville
15United Methodist Church, the LaHarpe Masonic Lodge, and the
16Quincy Consistory; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Wade Bedwell was preceded in death by his
18parents; his son, Gary Bedwell; his brothers, Donnie and Duane
19Bedwell; and his daughter-in-law, Crystal Bedwell; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Wade Bedwell is survived by his children, Daryl

1(Pamala Doll) Bedwell and Crystal Pedroni; his grandchildren,
2Kristina (Chris) Maestranzi, Michael (Brittany) Pedroni,
3Carissa (Justin) Bryant, and Curtis Bedwell; and 10
4great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Wade Bedwell and extend our sincere condolences to his family,
8friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Wade Bedwell as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
