SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of M.H. "Monty" Pollner of New Boston,
4who passed away on February 17, 2024; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Monty Pollner was born to Elizabeth M. (Lang) and
6Carl L. Pollner in Chicago on January 8, 1928; he served in the
7U.S. Navy during World War II; he married Nelda E. Gooding in
8Hampton on July 13, 1952; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Monty Pollner worked as a commercial artist in
10his younger years, and he retired as a printing salesman for
11Desaulniers and Co.; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Monty Pollner loved woodworking and fishing; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Monty Pollner was preceded in death by his
14parents; his wife, Nelda; his son, Tracy; and his brother,
15Henry "Hank" Pollner; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Monty Pollner is survived by his son, Randy
17(Janet) Pollner; his daughter, Heather (Gary) Reardon; his
18daughter-in-law, Paula Pollner; his grandchildren, Jacob,
19Jennifer, Spencer, Quinn, and Emily; eight
20great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and his

1sister-in-law, Rosemary Pollner; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4M.H. "Monty" Pollner and extend our sincere condolences to his
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
6further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Monty Pollner as an expression of
9our deepest sympathy.
