2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened |
3 | | to learn of the death of Robert Henry "Bob" Dixon; and
|
4 | | WHEREAS, Bob Dixon was born to Henry and Marie Dixon in |
5 | | Memphis, Tennessee on June 4, 1941; he resided in Chicago from |
6 | | an early age and attended Dunbar High School; he served as a |
7 | | sharpshooter with the 1st Cavalry Division in the U.S. Army |
8 | | from 1960 to 1962; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, Bob Dixon retired from Coach One, where he worked |
10 | | as an over the road bus driver; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, Bob Dixon was a motorcycle rider with the Dirty |
12 | | Dozen Motorcycle Club, where he was also known as "Slick Bob"; |
13 | | he held many offices within the club, and he was most proud of |
14 | | being the founder of the club's three-piece patch; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, Bob Dixon was preceded in death by his parents |
16 | | and his sons, James and Kevin Dixon; and
|
17 | | WHEREAS, Bob Dixon is survived by his wife, Denise Dixon, |
18 | | and his children, Joi Cornelious, Ian Dixon, Tia Dixon, Jon |
19 | | Dixon, Keena (Michael) Crossley, Robert Dixon Jr., Andre |
20 | | Dixon, Robinette Lewis, and Demeka Bailey; therefore, be it
