SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Ronald Gene Wahl of Gillespie, who
4passed away on April 25, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl was born to Percy Wahl and Velma
6Ayers Wahl in Rockbridge on August 18, 1944; he married Linda
7Kay Neff; he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War;
8and
 
9    WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl retired after serving as a meat
10cutter for a grocery store; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl enjoyed woodworking and gardening; he
12also enjoyed spending time with his family and being outdoors;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl was preceded in death by his parents;
15his brother, Donald Wahl; his sister, Elizabeth Wahl; and his
16son-in-law, Ken Wasylenko; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Ronald Wahl is survived by his spouse, Linda
18Wahl; his children, Christie Wasylenko, Tracy (Dustin) Favre,
19Erin (Steth) Wahl, and Brianne (Matt) Nolan; his
20grandchildren, Samantha Wasylenko, Taylor (Dylan) Fuda, Tori

1Gilleland, Colton Wahl, Savannah Linn, Lilly Wahl, Asha Wahl,
2Kyle Favre, Olivia Favre, and Kinsley Nolan; his
3great-grandchildren, Brently and Violet; his siblings, Earl
4Ray (Carol) Wahl, Phyllis (Larry) Brogdon, Stanley (Cathy Jo)
5Wahl, and Randall (Rhonda) Wahl; and his several nieces and
6nephews; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Ronald Gene Wahl and extend our sincere condolences to his
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Ronald Wahl as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
