SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened 
3to learn of the death of Harry Feiger, who passed away on 
4February 17, 2023; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was born on January 8, 1930; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger served as an officer in the U.S. 
7Navy; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was the son of the late Isidor and 
9Frieda (Fruchter) Feiger; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was the husband of the late Arlene 
11(Siskel) Feiger for over 59 years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was the father of Gail Feiger 
13(Andrew) Brown, Jonathan (Nancy Laben) Feiger, and Robert 
14(Alyson Miller) Feiger; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was the grandfather of Joey Brown, 
16Eliza (Danya) Lagos-Brown, Madeline Brown, Leah (Rodrigo 
17Deiana) Feiger, Jayce Feiger, Sarah Feiger, and Lily Feiger; 
18and

1    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was the great-grandfather of Bluma 
2Aviva Lagos-Brown; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was the brother of Sig (the late 
4Miriam) Feiger, Rose Grossinger, and the late Alfred (Carole) 
5Feiger; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was the brother-in-law of William 
7(Judy) Siskel, the late Eugene (Marlene Iglitzen) Siskel, 
8Avrum (the late Joyce) Gray, Dolores Cowen, the late Elaine 
9(the late Herbert) Loseff, and the late Sheldon Gray; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was the companion of Adrianne 
11Mautner; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Harry Feiger was the uncle, cousin, and best 
13friend of many; therefore, be it
  
 
14    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL 
15ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
16Harry Feiger and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
17friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
19presented to the family of Harry Feiger as an expression of our 
20deepest sympathy.
