SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates the amount of $536,400 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Connections for Abused Women and their Children. Effective July 1, 2024.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $536,400, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to Connections for Abused Women and their Children for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, or renovating a communal dining space for families, as well as for the acquisition of commercial grade appliances.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
