AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3301

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3301 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

    “Section 5.  The following named amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of Public Health for the objects and purposes hereinafter named:

OFFICE OF HEALTH PROTECTION

Payable from the Personal Property Tax

  Replacement Fund:

  For Local Health Protection Grants

   to Certified Local Health Departments

   for Health Protection Programs including,

   but not limited to, Infectious

   Diseases, Food Sanitation,

   Potable Water and Private Sewage.............. $30,098,500

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2024.”.
