SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $50,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Higher Education for all costs and expenses associated with a student teaching stipend program. Effective July 1, 2024.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $50,000,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Board of Higher Education for all costs and expenses associated with the student teaching stipend program created under Section 9.44 of the Board of Higher Education Act.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
