Appropriates $5,500,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority for a grant to Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, USA for program and operating expenses for youth-development based sports initiatives. Effective July 1, 2024.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $5,500,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority for a grant to Laureus Sport for Good Foundation USA for program and operating expenses for youth-development based sports initiatives.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2024.
