SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $50,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants to community learning centers under the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers program. Effective immediately.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $50,000,000, or so much of that sum as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the State Board of Education for grants to community learning centers under the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers program.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
